To Install BDA in Windows 98/2000/ME/XP on a PC, IBM compatible computer:

A. Simply insert the CD ROM into your computer. The program has a self start function so in a minute or so, it will ask you to be installed. Just follow the instructions. If you have a previous version of BDA, you will be instructed to uninstall it first. Go to C. below

B. If this auto start feature does not work in a minute or so, you can manually initiate the installation as follows:

1.      Start Windows and close all other applications.

2.  Using the START/RUN path or using Windows Explorer, Open the CD ROM and run the  Setup.exe program.   Follow the prompts.

C The BDA Setup installation program prompts you through the installation process and will install the necessary system files to run this application.  NOTE: Watch the screen messages closely.  If prompted about a System file, DO NOT replace any System files with older files that may be provided on the CD.

1.      Click the agreement page (I agree) on license agreement

2.      Input the evaluation serial #

3.      Register your copy now or later, as you wish.

4.      Read the congratulations page for any recent important information about the program.

After the installation is complete, you are ready to use the program for the first time.  To do so, click on the BDA icon.  The first time this is done or until the user code, ‘Ac#”, from your CD case is required.  It is six characters such as ‘724PRX’ and is case sensitive.  This code is very important because the program will not operate without it.

A reminder, it always best to close the program using the “close” command under the FILE menu on the main screen.  This assures that no potential contamination to your files occurs.

Additional Installation Notes

1. If you already have BDA installed, you must uninstall the previous version prior to the new installation. The installation program will do this for you if you don't do it.
