Over the past year, major activities have been happening at AppliedVB and with the Building Design Analyzer program. If you have visited this web site before you will notice the increased price of the program. The program has been tested and accepted in many counties of Northern California. It has also formed the basis of a building plan analysis business we have started. It enables us to perform plan analyses at one tenth the time of hand calculations and when changes have to be made because of the builder or owners desires, the recalculation time and cost is minimal. Using the program, the submittal time is greatly reduced as is the approval since the building departments have become comfortable with the program output. The accuracy of the program provides confidence to the builders, building departments and owners since it precludes table look-up errors or hand calculation mistakes.
The current price is only temporary. As the business volume increases, the cost of the program will continue to increase placing analysts without this tool at a considerable business disadvantage.
