   GARBAGE COLLECTION

At the board meeting held April 4, 2006 a garbage collection ordinance was passed requiring a $15 per month fee for residents (people with houses who live in California Valley). More details will become available in the future.  If you pay for the entire year at once, you only get charged for 10 months.  To request trash pick-up click on the link below, fill out the form and drop it off at the district office.

RECYCLING  POLICY
(5060)

California Valley is required to create a recycling program. The Board of Directors has decided to designate one day each month to recycling pick-up. That day will be the first Monday of each month.

The District will accept commingled recyclables.
Only commingled recyclables will be picked up on this day.

Our goal is to reduce our trash by 20% each month.

The District has been averaging  10 tons of trash each month. Our goal is to reduce this to 8 tons

The District is asking each and every member of this community to help us in achieving this goal.

The District will provide each residence with a 32 gallon container for the commingled recyclables.
